If you don't want to dress up like a Disney princess, there are many other wonderful princess costumes available.

When you receive your costume, be sure to read the care instructions. Some costumes arrive folded in boxes and may have wrinkles. Hang up the costume when it arrives to limit wrinkling. If the costume is for a particular event (such as Halloween), make sure to order early enough to get rid of wrinkles before you need the costume.

Don’t forget that costumes for Disney princesses can be put together with items you may have at home. For example, Cinderella wears a blue dress. If you have a blue dress, all you may need is play jewelry and beautifully curled hair to pull off the impersonation.

Dance costumes can be adapted into Disney princess attire as well. Sometimes the right color costume is all that is needed for your little girl to believe she is her favorite princess. One year my daughter had a blue and yellow dance costume dress. In her eyes it resembled Cinderella’s dress, so she used it for Halloween and for dress up. In addition, when she had outgrown it, I sold it to someone else as a Cinderella Halloween costume.
